Second Skin
Brief
California State University, Chico: Create a series of photographs using non-traditional lighting techniques.
Execution
The use of technology is becoming increasingly prominent in our daily lives. It is almost impossible for us to avoid technology; we rely on it so much that it has almost become a part of us, a second skin. To express this, I chose to use projections. I allowed my subjects to select a technological or geometric image that they felt most connected to and projected it onto their face. This allowed the images to conform to the shape of their faces to become this second skin.Role: Photographer, Art DirectorDeliverables: Life-size prints hung in a university art gallery
